Show Home and School Meeting. Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO, March 5. The Home and School association held an Interesting meeting last evening In the Central school The subject of home manufactures manufac-tures and their Importance to the state, and the benefits to be derived from supporting sup-porting them, was presented by Mrs. Nellie Taylor, Mrs. John Stewart, Harvey Clult and U JO. Eggertsen. The exhibition exhibi-tion of home-manufactured products in the schools to educate tho children along the line of appreciation and support of home-made articles was suggested by Mrs, Stewart. F. M. Young spoke of the Interest taken by tho boys and girls in tho industrial clubs now being organized in the schools under tho direction of the department of agriculture, and Mrs. A. P. Morrill, delegate dele-gate to the housekeepers' convention at Iogan, reported some of Iho proceedings of that gathering. The president, Mrs. Ivy G. Corf man, announced a meeting Wednesday evening, even-ing, March 11. In the public library lecture lec-ture room, of the department of civic clubs and other organizations, for tho purpose of effecting closer co-operation along civic activities. |
