Show OLD FOLKS ATTEND SALT LAKE THEATER They Are the Guests of tho Salt Lake High, School Dramatic Club. The old folks of the city were entertained enter-tained by tho Salt Lake High School Dramatic club at the Salt Lake theater yesterday afternoon. Tho club presented pre-sented "The Freshman." It was the second public appearance of the High School Dramatic club, and ifrom present prospects it is expected that a-trip will oo taken during the spring vacation next month. Tho noncommissioned officers of the High school gave an exhibition drill under tho direction of Captain W. C. "Webb and Bentley Woolloy. The" boys fave an excellent military drill. The rum and trumpet corps also attended the performance. The High school orchestra rendered several pleasing selections under the leadership of Professor L. P. Christen-sou. Christen-sou. All persons more than 70 years of ago wore admitted to the performance, and had much praiso for the different High school organizations. Miss Nellie Nel-lie Brown, who directed the play, was well pleased with the club's showing. Lawrence Hyde and Stella Devine H played tho leading roles. The students who composed the cast are: Lawrence Hvde, leading man; IH Stella Devine, leading laity; Grant Mai- H quist, Ralph Jordou, George O'Connor, IH Louie Simons, Heber Sew, Lafe llix-son, llix-son, Elsie Green, Ida Iiich and Emil Newman. |
