Show C. J. NELSON DIES. Highly Respected Resident of Brlgham City Succumbs to lllneac. IH Special to Tho Tribune. BRIGHAM CITY. March 5. C. J- ?oI-son. ?oI-son. an old and highly respected resident of this cltv. died at his home yesterday morning, after an Illness covering the greater portion of a year. Mr. Nelson KJ was born in SJoalland, Denmark. January mm 9 1S17. and emigrated to America In 180 1, later Joining tho dominant church In Utah. He was a conspicuous character in and about the city, being at one time an employee of tho Co-op In this city in the shoo manufacturing department. For some yours ho served as counselor tm to the late Bishop Alvln Nichols, and was a member of the board of trustees of the jH Brlgham City schools before the consoli-datlon consoli-datlon into one city district, and served for a number of years as city sexton. He tm Is survived by a widow and a number of children. Funeral services will bo hold Jm In the tabernacle Saturday aftornoon at 3:30 o'clock, and Interment will bo In tho Jm City cemetery |
