Show PROPOSALS WITHDRAWN. Water Usors Under Strawberry Project Will Receive Another Settlement Plan. Special to The Tribune. PROVO. March 5. The Strawborry Valley Water Users' association has received re-ceived the following letter, withdrawing Iho propositions by the department of the Interior for a settlement of the dilTcrences existing between the existing canal companies com-panies and the reclamation commission, the main difference being with reference to the average How of water in the Spanish Span-ish Fork river, or the. "typical river." Tho reclamation commissioners calculate this to be 38.500 feel, while the canal users contend that It Is 45.000 feet, but have expressed a willingness to accept 43,000 feet. The letter follows: On December 31, 1913. the reclamation recla-mation commission advised you that the propositions rclatlvo to the inclusion in-clusion of the private canals In the Strawberry Valley reclamation project, proj-ect, made In departmental letter of October 20. 1013, uddresscd to the association, would be wlthdruwn February Feb-ruary 1, 1914. unless accepted prior to that date.
