Ofliccrs of the Children's Aid society announced today that the children have been sent back to their original home, Topcka, Kan., where they will be cared for at a homo for children. In the care of Mrs. R. D. Robins, a member of the local society, the two children left Osden last nieht on their trip east. Because of the belief that Mrs. Ruella P. Curtis, grandmother of tho children and one of I he contestants for their custody. Is in F.vanston, wyo., tne announcement of the plan to send the waifs out of Ogden was not mado public until they wore well out of reach of the persistent grandmother. After considerable correspondence with the Topcka society, the local organization was asked to send the children east, provided pro-vided no c.vponse was attached to removal re-moval from Ogdcn to Kansas. In. the hope that she would leave tho city she was finally released re-leased on her own recognizance and is thought to have departed a fow days ago for EvaiiKton.
