Arrangements . are being made by tho commcrco committee of the Commercial club for one of the most novel educational educa-tional schemes that has ever been worked out In Salt Lake. Pupils In the eighth grades, high schools and colleges of the city who attain a certain standard of -scholarship each month will be Invited to visit some of the blggost business projects In Snlt Lake City and learn how they aro operated. One of the first concerns to take up tho plan Is the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone & Telegraph company. .As soon as the plan Is put Into operation, thu telephone company will entertain thc best scholars, to be designated bv tho school authorities, at a luncheon In the Commercial Com-mercial club. Here a lecturer from thc telephone company will tell tho students all about the concern and Its business and t mechanical methods, illustrating- his talk 1-ollowliif; tho luncheon, the party will be taken to the telephone building and shown through the entire plant and the details of Its operations explained and demonstrated. Other business housee and manufacturing manufactur-ing plants will conduct similar parties through their plants.
