Show NEW CLASS FORMED. Domestic Science Is Being Taught at Night In Ogden Schools. Special to The Tribune. . OGDEN, March 5. With Misses Marie Carlson and Verna Bowman as the instructors, the night, class in domestic science has an enrollment of twenty-two young ladles, stenographers, bookkeepers bookkeep-ers and department store clerks, who recently re-cently petitioned the board of education for permission to use the Ogdcn high school equipment. MIescs Carlson and Bowman arc the regular instructors in domestic science at tho school. The course as mapped out includes twenty lessons, which will require all of tho time between now and the close of the school year. The classes will bo convened at the high school every Wednesday and Friday evening between the hours of G:30 and 8 p. m. Tho formation of the first night class has met Avlth the enthusiastic approval ap-proval of Principal Henry Peterson and Superintendent John M. Mills, who believe be-lieve that It will result in the organization organiza-tion of night classes In other branches of study. |
