Show SOCIALISM DISCUSSED BY L. A. KATTERFIELD L. E. Kattorficld, former manager of the JNiitional Socialist lyceuin, "brought down tho house" during his lecture last night in the Oarrick theater, when he declared that the Socialist party was the greatest peace power the world had ever known. In support of his claims, Mr. Katterfield said that conflicts between be-tween Norway and Sweden and between , Franco and Gormany were averted by thcktborhi classes of the different countries retusiug to bear arms against each other. The subject of Mr. Katterfield s talk was "How to Got What You Want," which, of course, was to join'tho ranks of tho Socialists and vote with ho party. He outlined the principles of tho party, briefly reviewed the history his-tory of the organization and the work that had been accomplished. Tho aif dienco was not large, but made up in enthusiasm for what it lacked iu numbers. |
