RELATIVES OF GUNMEN APPEAL FOR CLEMENCY NEW YORK, March 5. Relatives' of three of tho four gunmen, under sentence sen-tence of death in Sing Sing for tho murder of tho gambler, Herman Rosenthal, Ro-senthal, visited District Attorney Charles S. Whitman today and asked him to intercede for the condemned men. Mr. Whitman replied that only Governor Glynn could act in their behalf by exercising executive clemency. clem-ency. . Counsel for tho men accompanied the relatives, who wero tho fathers of "Lefty Louie" Rosenberg and Harry Horowitz, "Gvp tho Blood," and a sister of "Dago Frank" Cirofici. Frank Muller, "'Wfliitcy Lowis," was not represented. The gunmen will not bo witnesses at the second trial of Cliarles Becker, tho former police lioutcnant whoso conviction was set aside recently by tho slate court of appeals, Mr. Whitman Whit-man announced today.
