OCR Text	Show REAL VALUE OF DUKES. i Geraldine Farrar has a very poor opinion of any and all kinds of foreign titles, and doesn't hesitate to use real naughty language to express her dislike for them. Also she is proud to be an American and never expects to forsake her own country. Miss Farrar arrived on the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse. An interviewer in-terviewer remarked after listening to her story of her recent appearance appear-ance before the kaiser in Berlin that, had she consented to remain in tho German capital, she might have contracted an alliance with "a duke or somebody and acquired a title." Thereupon the American singer's aristocratic nose ascended and she said aloud: "Dukes? I've met many of them, and believe me, taking them individually and collectively, they are not worth a damn."
