The ntteutlon of Dr. Bnmh of this city was called to the condition of the animals and he made an immediate immed-iate test for glanders, hl3 fears being aroused when he first saw the horses. The tests were conclusive evidences that the horses were afflicted with that dangerous disease, and the attention at-tention of the state veterinarian was called to the case. It is hoped that the disease has not been contracted by other animals with which the sick an'mals have come in contact recently Every precaution pre-caution will be taken against its spread. The horses that have been exposed ex-posed to the disease will be given the best of care and they will be quarantined quaran-tined at the first disclosure of glandular glandu-lar symptoms I |
