His subject was "The Means of Perseverance," and during his remarks re-marks the mission priwt complimented compliment-ed tho peuplo on tho faith and generosity gener-osity shown during the week, noting their regular attendance during tho eight days, both morning and evening. He argued that it was something more than Idle curiosity that moved tho people to attend the services, and this fact was testimony of their evidence evi-dence of sincere faith and deep piety. Father Maloney also congratulated th zealous pastor, Father Cushnahan, on the healthy condition of his parish Knck. and told his audience that they should consider It a privilege In having hav-ing such an able and wise director of their spiritual interests.
