Show Bicentennial Colonial Ball PAROWAN - America's Bicentennial will be celebrated in style Saturday evening with a beautiful Colonial Ball. The Ball will begin at 9 p.m. and will be held in the Parowan High School Gymnasium. The gym is decorated and will provide a lovely background for the dancing. Music for the evening will be authentic and be provided by a string group under the expert direction of Mrs. June Larson of Cedar City. Those who have colonial costumes are encouraged to wear them, but costumes are not necessary and everyone in the county is invited to attend this special Bicentennial event. , Music will be waltzes, minuets, reels and will include some fancy footwork fiddling for those who enjoy an old fashioned polka. If you don't enjoy dancing please attend anyway and enjoy the music and festivities. Refreshments will be served and there is no admission charge. Parowan City is the sponsor for this Bicentennial celebration. |
