I ' I j p RECEIVE PROMOTIONS. Judith C. Stock, left, and Lois Higbee have been appointed to new positions of responsibility at State Bank of Southern Utah. Employees receive promotions The promotion of Lois Higbee and Judith C. Stock as officers of the State Bank of Southern Utah has been announced by Eldon W. Schmutz, vice president and cashier. Mrs. Higbee has been promoted to the position of Assistant Cashier and Operations Officer. She formerly served as Supervisor of the Bookkeeping Department. Mrs. Stock has been named Assistant Cashier. She formerly served as Supervisor of Tellers. Both have a long history with the State Bank. Mrs. Higbee joined the staff when the bank was opened in 1957. Mrs. Stock has been on board for the past seven years having previously worked with a banking concern in St. George. Mrs. Higbee is the former Lois Miles of Cedar City and is married to Wes Higbee. She attended Cedar City schools and Southern Utah State College. The Higbees have three children and three grandchildren. Mrs. Stock received her Association Degree in Business Education from SUSC and attended at-tended the University of Utah for one year. She has a daughter, Becky, nine. Mrs. Stock is the former Judith Christiansen of Cedar City. "We are pleased to have such dedicated workers and to be able ito recognize their contribution through appointment to positions of additional responsibility," Schmutz stated in making the announcement. i
