The hours from 3 until 5 o'clock were spent with knitting and sewing, apd later a luncheon was served. Mrs. Louis Kabell entertained the ladles of the Wednesday Afternoon Sewing club at her home on Sage street, Wednesday afternoon. At the attractively arranged table, covers were laid for ten. 'Mr. and Mrs. Adolphus Chrlstason left Sunday for their ranch home on Bear river, where they will spend the summer. A jolly crowd of young people accompanied accom-panied them for the day. Mrs. Jack Soloman of Chicago arrived from Salt Lake, Sunday, with her mother, Mrs. Jake Gottstein, and will spend the summer in Evanston visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Hoehner came in from Aspen on Friday for a few days' 1 visit with friends. Complimentary to Mrs. Charles Dickenson, Dicken-son, who will leave shortly to make her home in Cheyenne, Mrs. Mary McAllister entertained at a 500 party Monday evening eve-ning at her home on Third street. ' Small tables were arranged throughout the rooms for cards, and at the call of the games the first prize was awarded to the guest of honor, Mrs. Dickenson, while Miss Esther Webster received the consolation con-solation favor.
