Show FARMINGTON j FARMINGTON, March 9. Mrs. G. R. Chaffin entertained in honor of the Feron club Fridav afternoon. The house was decorated in hyacinths. Luncheon was served to Mrs, Horace Van Fleet, Mrs. Squire Chipman, Mrs. Nephl Palmer, Miss Edith Walsh, Mrs. Byron Crosby, Mrs. Nellie Gardner, Mrs.. John Walsh, Mlsa Rhea Taylor, Mrs. Eugene Clark, Mrs. A. L. Clark. Mrs. Robert Miller, Mrs. George Q. Knowlton and Mrs. J. H. Robinson. Mrs Charles Holt spent Sunday In Farmingtan. the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Potter. Miss Rhea Taylor spent a few days during the week In Ogden, the guest of Miss Viola Taylor. Miss Martha K. Barnes of Kaysville spent a few days in Farmington during the week. Mrs. George Hess spent the week in Morgan visiting her daughter, Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Fry. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rampton have returned re-turned home, after spending a few weeks in California. Saturday evening of last week the Utile club, which formed the fourth committee for a series of entertainments which have been given, entertained witli an elaborate vaudeville show. There were a number of out-of-town numbers, including those given by Professor Gudmansen of Provo, Miss Smith of Centerville, Miss Lucile Tburman and Miss Jane Tout of Salt Tjike, B. J. Briggs of Salt Lake ahd'A. J. R. Spillman of Kayssille. The numbers given by home talent included a dramatic reading by Miss Anna Chaffin. sketching skit by Miss Rhea Taylor and company, "For B'l'anee and Liberty," scenic tableaux and chorus under the personal direction of Mrs. Grant Clark, and two numbers by the Homeland quartette. The remainder of the evening- was spent In dancing. Refreshments were served. Mrs. J. W. Taylor is expected home soon from California, where she has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Dale 11. Parke. Miss Lucy Hess spent a few days of the week wilh her sister, Mrs. Secrest of North Farmington. Mrs. Mammie Dumkee will entertain the Utile club Friday afternoon. Mrs. Robert Miller will entertain In honor of the Feron club Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Miss Wealthy Clark visited friends In Salt Lake during the week. |
