A letter confirming the previous announcement an-nouncement that she would address the llouncville club at its dinner at the Hotel Utah on the night of April 1 was received yesterday from Miss Jane Addams by George 6. Keif, secretary of the board of governors of the club. Dr. F. W. Gunsaulus, head of the Armour Institute of Technology at Chicago and noted lecturer, will address ad-dress tho -Bonneville club at its dinner to be held on the night of Tuesday, March 10, at tho hotel, and Miss Addams Ad-dams will be the speaker at the ladies' night dinner to be held on the April date. Much interest is reported among members of the club in the announcement announce-ment of two such noted speakers as Dr. Gunsaulus and Miss Addams, who is head of the Hull House social settlement settle-ment in Chicago and who, perhaps, is the most noted wonian speaker in the country. Women of the city are evidencing evi-dencing especial interest in the visit of Miss Addams, and ladies' night promises prom-ises to be a notable event in the annals an-nals of the club. j A benefit dance for the Sarah Daft home had been announced at the Hotel Utah on the night of April 1. but when Mr. Keif received confirmation of this date for the appearance of Miss Addams Ad-dams before the Bonneville club, the women in charge of the dance immediately imme-diately postponed their event until the night of April 5. |
