Show BLIND STUDENTS TO ! AID THE RED CROSS Special to The Tribune. OGDEX, March 9. The Handel ; ; horns, so named after the famous ' ilind composer,' and made up of all the hildren in tho Utah School for the Blind, will give a concert Thursday, March 21, m the First Presbyterian hurch. A small admission fee Will be . -harged and the proceeds will be turned iver to the Ogden chapter of the merican Ked Gross. ! The programme will consist of two -antatas, "Captive," by Victor Her-I Her-I icrt, and "Mav Day," .by Cr. A Mac-: Mac-: arren. Miss Ireno Shields, the in- dructor in music in the school, is di-; di-; -ecting the rehearsals and will have diarge of the concert. D. J. Thurman, irincipal of the School for the Blind vill sing the baritone solo in the I 'Captive" and Miss Jane Sands of i -alt Lake will sing tho soprano solos ; i he chorus work by the blind students ,.vll, as in the past, be one of the big ' eatures of the concert. |
