Show ANNUAL CELEBRATION WILL BE BIG AFFAIR Special to The Tribune. MT. PLEASANT. March 9. At a sne cial meeting of the board of directors of the Mt. Pleasant Pioneer Historical association asso-ciation plans were formulated for the annual an-nual celebration to be given March 20 to commemorate the founding of Mt. Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Tills celebration, which this year will mark the fifty-ninth anniversary of the city, is always one of the large social events of the year, and, as there are still living a few of the original founders of the city, is looked forward to especially by the older citizens with much pleasant anticipations. The plans for the day include a band serenade to the pioneers at noon, a pub-Mc pub-Mc meeting at 2 o'clock in the North ward chapel and a dance in the evening, at which old-fashioned refreshments are tu be served. |
