Show i An email Dancing Party : of High School Girls 1 0 to Be . Large Frmectioe j npHE annual dance of the girls of the " East, ami West High, schools will lie given tomorrow evening at the Odeon. The event is one of tho most popular social functions in the high school calendar, cal-endar, and inasmuch as the cadet hop will not be held this year, this affair will be the most important high school function of the season. The decorations will be of a patriotic nature. The programmes will consist of red crosses and soldiers. Booths will bo arranged by the girls, representing America, France, England and Italy. The girls in charge of the dance are. the officers of the East and West Girls' Athletie associations. They are, East: President, Miss Marjorie Gowans; vice president, Miss Elenor Woolley; secretary, secre-tary, Miss Trieste Pearson; treasurer. Miss Frances Collier; directors, Miss Hortense West (seniors), Miss Grace Mooney (juniors), Miss Gertrude Martin, Mar-tin, Miss Mary Xeil (sophomores), Miss Josephine Hall and Miss Florence Finch (freshmen). West: President, Miss Vera Smithen; vice president, Miss Florence Springer: secretary. Miss Hannah Taysum; treasurer, treas-urer, Miss Bessie Pomeroy; student body representative, Miss Leona Gedge; directors. Miss Nellie Morris (seniors). MEMBERS of the Commercial club have made plans for the annual spring gambol of the club, to bo held at the clubhouse on Saturday evening, April 13. The afternoon was spent in Rd Cross work. Mrs. A. R. Williams entertained Wednesday evening at her home in Bryan avenue in honor of Miss Florence Flor-ence Koller and W. C. Roberts of Cedar Ce-dar City, Ida., who will be married soon. Tho evening was spent with games and music and a buffet supper was served later. About twenty guests were in attendance. Miss La Vaughn Lyon was guest of honor at a dancing party given by Miss Edith Hogan at her home, 325 East Broadway, Wednesday evening. The rooms were decorated in pink and white carnations, violets and potted ferns. The music was furnished by T. Barraclough. A buffet, supper was served after dancing.
