Show IRON COUNTY COAL . SPEEDS UP WORK Plans for Bunkliotise Prepared and Caterpillar Tractor on the Way. President F. "W. AVehb of the Iron County Coal company was In Cedar City again last Tuesday making arrangements for the work on tho atrial tram-way, on the temporary roar that is beiner constructed con-structed to the. mine, over which the timber and machinery for the tram will be transported for the bunkhonse to be erected a short distance from the porta I of the mine for the use of the miners and other employees, and the various other details of the industry whih is being launched here. Mr. Webb was highly elated over the showing made in the portal of the new tunnel that has just been opened. "We have nine, feet of clean, pretty coal," eaid Mr. Webb, "without a- streak or flaw in it." Continuing. Mr. Webh stated that the plans for the. bunkhonse had been drawn and accepted. It is fashioned after the armv cantonment, and will be located on i the flat a short distance below the portal of the tunnel. A level track yard, 6uxS I feet will be constructed at the mouth of! the tunnel and the portal to the mine will be substantially cemented.
