Show SPRING SU1IE SPEEDS MM; t Sales Manager Hap Goodwin of the Alkire-Smith Auto company, "Utah's oldest Ford agents," reports that the sunshiny spring days of last "week have ( made sales of the Universal car excep- , tionally heavy, and that orders have been ' taken for a large number of America's ' most popular car. Sales made during the i past week included three runabouts to the Salt Lake City health department j and commercial cars to the Mountain States Telephone company, Utah Packing Pack-ing company Symns Utah Grocer com- J pany, Regal Cleaning company, Dupaix J Grocery, A. G- Spalding company, J. I. Ci'se Threshing Machine company, Dean . Monahan, the popular K. C. baking pow- ' der salesman, and William Watrous, Elalt ; Ijake's veteran carpenter. In addition to these business and commercial cars, there were a large number of the five- ; passenger Ford touring cars delivered, . seven cars being delivered in one day. ' Billy Sovereign, the popular foreman of the Alklre-Smlth company's shop, re- ' ports that he has had to put on our more 1 experienced Ford mechanics to take care of the ever-increasing shop work that j has come to the cpmpany since moving i Into its handsome new quarters. Bill says that experienced Ford mechanics, using ' genuine Ford made parts and turning : out nothing but the highest class of workmanship, have been the secret of the ' large growth in shop work that has come to "Utah's oldest Ford agents." |
