Show TRIAL OF DE WEESE PROVED EXPENSIVE Report of Costs Shows Excess of $1693 Over Regular Charges, District Attorney Says. A report of expenses of the Howard H. DeWcese murder trial in excess of regular reg-ular court expenses, such as witness and jury fees, was made yesterday by District Attorney Wilson McCarthy to M. C. Iverson. Iver-son. county auditor, the amount being $1603.01. Of this expense. ?4 7fi.90 was Incurred in bringing Harry Fisher, former husband hus-band of the murdered woman, here from New York to testify against DeWeese. The cct of bringing" Frank Klein, another an-other state's witness, from New- York, amounted to ?343.0, while that for bringing bring-ing Mr. and Mrs. K. F. Paulson from San Francisco and Detective Charles L. Lark in from Chicago to testify for the state were other sources of extra expense. ex-pense.
