Show MUNICIPAL CHUG MEETS UIG SUCCESS Five Additional Centers for Work Will Be Opened by Committees. - The emergency committee whieh has charge of the war garden work met yesterday yes-terday with the preservation committee to go over the plans to be made for the further conservation of the food supply of the city and state through the canning can-ning of all surplus vegetables and fruits. The committee, which consists of Mrs. C. H. McMahon. Mrs. George M. Bacon and Mrs. Janetta A. Hyde, reported that the canning plant which has been Installed In-stalled at the city market is proving a succes.i and that five canning centers will be established throughout the city and the county in order to care for all of the products.
