Show FRENCH REPULSE GERMAN ATTACK NORTH OF FLIREY PARIS, July 11. The Germans made an attack last night in the Woevre north of Fllrey. They were repulsed, the war office announced. The war office issued the following official of-ficial statement tonight on the campaign: cam-paign: The day was marked by quiet artillery ar-tillery actions in the region of Pantheon, Pan-theon, in various sectors south of Moronvillers and near hill 304. Belgian communication: During the night the Germans continued to bombard bom-bard Furnes. Today the usual ar-. ar-. tlllery action occurred along the whole front, notably British Rams-capelle, Rams-capelle, Dlxmude and Hetsas. Eastern theater, July 10: fter a violent bombardment the enemy attempted, at-tempted, on the evening of July 9, in the region of Dihova, west of JVIonastir, a surprise attack which was repulsed. An enemy airplane landed near Livada, south of Lym-niesa. |
