In extending ex-tending what Is known as the blacksmith tunnel, which enters the property from the east aide, at a distance of ninety-eight ninety-eight feet from the portal, a three-foot vein was cut. The vein matter is rich In silver, with good gold values. The ore is a rusty looking quartz with talc showing show-ing strong mineralization. Along the hanging wall Is a streak between be-tween two and three inches in thickness of dark gray ore which assays over $2000 to the ton. The lead has well defined walls ami gives every appearance of per-I per-I manency. The work of drifting on the vein will start next week, when the ex-tont ex-tont of the rich values will be proven. .
