Show I ira MUCH PLEASED Bf SUNSET General Manager of Lea-dore, Lea-dore, Idaho, Mine Enthusiastic Enthu-siastic Over Outlook. Viltord Van Wagenen. general manager man-ager of the Sunset Mining & Milling company, with extensive holdings at Lea-dore, Lea-dore, Idaho, came down Tuesday night after a prolonged stay at the property. Mr. Van Wagenen said yesterday that a man would have to be both selfish and jealous to expect a property to make a better showing than the Sunset is making mak-ing at the present time "We have enough high-grade ore in sight to ship a car a day for a year," he declared, "and the low-grade ores already proved will run the 200-ton mill for at least four years." The superintendent added that preparation prep-aration had been virtually completed for the increasing of the force at the mine and mill and said that within ten days about thirty men would be employed. He said that one of the unique yet gratifying grati-fying features concerning the Sunset mine was the fact that every drift on every level was in ore, not always of shipping grade, but at least of a grade that permits of profitable treatment oy the mill. Nicholas G. Morgan of Salt Lake is president of the Sunset company and the major portion of the stock is held by Salt Lakers. |
