Show Coffee Futures. NEW -YORK, July 11. Coffee future opened steady at unchanged prices to an advance of 3 points, but buying created by the more optimistic view of peace prospects seemed to have pretty well run lis course and prices soon turned easier under realizing. A less favorable view of the German political news may have been a factor, hut the. market was also influenced by report or freer cost and freight offers from Santoe, and December contractu eased off from 7.87c to 7.82c, with the general list closing at a net decline or 1 to 6 points. No-vember. 7.77c; December, 7.81c; January, 7.S6c; February. 7.91c: March, 7.97c; April, S.02c; May, 8.07c; June, S.12c. Spot, dull; Rio 7s, 9"ic: Santos 4s, 10c. Offers of Santos 3s were reported in the cost and freight market at 9.75c to 9.95c, and 4s at 9.30c to 9. 63c, London credits. Rio 7e were reported at 8.35c, London credits. The official cables reported no change in the Brazilian markets except for Santos futures, which, were 50 to 75 rels higher. |
