The San Diego Tribune of recent date contains the following fol-lowing account of a party given in Miss Marioneaux 's honor in that city: Miss Madeline Hawley entertained enter-tained at one of the most elaborate elabo-rate aud charming bridge teas of the season on Thursday at tho V. S. Grant hotel in honor of Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Marioneaux, an attractive young visitor from Salt Lake City. Guests were entertained at ten tables at bridge and many others came in for tea. After the game the guests adjourned ad-journed to the ballroom, where they were joined by young men friends of Srrn Diego and Coronado, and an hour's dancing was enjoyed. Miss Marioneaui and her mother. Mrs. I. O. Marioneaux, are guests at the Hotel Del Coronado and arc tho recipients of much social attention. The account follows: In the green banquet hall Jack Holland was the host at a gay gathering of the younger people of the hotel and the beach. The table was built in the form of a tennis racquet and tastefully decorated with stock blossoms in baskets. Miss Marioneaux 's name was first in the list of guests. Miscellaneous Events An organization of the Paul family has been effected at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth H. Paul on the anniversary of her eighty-fifth birthday. A goodly representation of the family living in Salt Lake was present and" letters expressing ex-pressing appreciation of and interest in the organization were received from all parts of the country. Regular meetings meet-ings will be held quarterly. The memcbrs of Da Chat Xoir Bridge club were entertained Friday afternoon by Mrs. B. F. Ray at her home, 27 North State street." The rooms were decorated in pink and white, spring flowers and Easter lilies. The evening was spent in cards and music, after which light refreshments were served. G. club at her home in Canyon road on Thursday evening. The time was spent in dancing and music, after which supper was served from a long table, which held for a centerpiece a low bowl of spring flowers with sprays of green strewn over the cloth. The color scheme, yellow yel-low and green, was carried out in the centerpiece of spring blossoms and throughout the menu. The club will meet in two weeks with Mrs. Faloon. Mrs. B. Gallagher entertained at a miscellaneous shower Wednesday evening even-ing in honor of Miss Zelda Duerdon, a hride of next month. Covers were laid for eighteen. Assisting were Mrs. R. Haye's at their home on Ninth East street, it being their fifth wedding anniversary.
