Powell Fullcrton and Miss Delia Pearl Reed were married at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Reed, on Wednesday. The Rev. F. L.. Mrs. M. F. King entertained the Merry -Go-Round club at her home on Thursday afternoon with a Kensington. Calla lilies and ferns were ufed as decorations. dec-orations. There are twelve members of the club. A buffet luncheon was served at 5 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur David left on Thursday for Iakeview. Mont., where they will make their home. About thirty friends of Mrs. J. J. Lcm-mons Lcm-mons gave her a surprise on Friday eve-nine, eve-nine, brinriiiK. well-filled baskets of good tilings to eat. Music, singing and games were the order of the evening. Lunch was served at a late hour. Mrs. Lem-mons Lem-mons was also the recipient of many valuable presents. It being her twenty-second twenty-second birthday anniversary. The Friday Afternoon Bridge club was entertained by Mrs. Frank Churchill at her home on Friday afternoon. Twelve members of the club were present. The members of the club are Mesdames -Joseph H. Bennett, C. M. Cline, J. W. Dill. Ralph Louis, Ralph F.dmunds, H. J. Hashrouck, Eugene Wright, A. Wilkey, M. B. Teaman, L. C. Naylor, Eugene Holliatcr, Jason McCarroll, W. L. Mc-Connell. Mc-Connell. V. T, Pettinger, W. C. S.hep-pard, S.hep-pard, G. G. Wright and F. H. Churchill. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Freeman entertained enter-tained fifteen of their friends with a dance at the I. O. O. F. hall on Friday evening. A large number of friends of Miss Ar-vllla Ar-vllla Wolfe gave her a surprise on Friday Fri-day evening. It being an anniversary of her birth. Games and music formed the entertainment of the evening, a delirious de-lirious lunch being served at 11 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Kieffer, who have been in California for the past month, returned home on Saturday evening. The local chapter of the Red Cross, just organized, was delightfully enter- ! tained on Saturday afternoon at the home ! of MrH. O. K. Wilbur, assisted by Mrs. j Eugene Wrtuht. A large red cross was j placed on the door of tho house and the j interior was decorated handsomely with small red crosses. Mrs. Phlrley Cahoon and little daughter daugh-ter ret urned on Monday from a visit of several weeks in Salt Lake City. Mrs. W. A. Baker left on Sunday for Spokane, Wash., where she will visit her mother for several weeks. Mrs. D. F. Powd left for Ogden on i Tuesday on account of the death of a ! relHtive. Mrs. Dr. S. S. Fuller left on Tuesday i for Colorado Springs, Colo., where Dr. Fuller is now located. Miss Erma Booth, who has been visiting vis-iting with Miss Kloise Berry for the past few weeks, left for her home in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Musselman were the recipients of a surprise party on Monday for a large number of t!-ir friends. Games, music and dancing were enjoyed until a late hour, when lunch was served. One of the special features was tho singing of patriotic songs. The members of the junior quartette , club were entertained by Miss Mary Oles at the home of ,her parents on Monday afternoon. Tea was ser ed by Mrs. Russell Rus-sell Freeman. The members oi the club are Misses Marion Hearst, Cortnne Porter, Por-ter, Ma y 01 es and Myrt le Lundgre n. The entertainment consisted of a musical musi-cal programme. Mrs. J. H. Oldman is visiting with the family of W. D. Forrest at Buhl, Idaho, for a short time. Mrs. Carl Roberts left on Saturday for O.gden, where she will visit her sister attending school, and proceed to California, Cali-fornia, where she will remain for several i weeks. j Mrs. J. II. PTeathe, who has been visiting vis-iting friends in Logan, Utah, for several weeks, returned home on Tuesday. Mrs. Simon Rudman entertained the Imperial Bridge club at her home with a lunch on Tuesday afternoon. A four-course four-course lunch was served at 1:80. covers being laid for ten. The centerpiece of the uining table was a bowl of pink tea roses; pink candles, with pink silk rose-shaped rose-shaped shades, were a part of the decorations. deco-rations. Five games of bridge were played, Mrs. Harold Slicppard making tho high score. Mrs. F. F. Finlayson entertained the Ridge Avenue Bridge club at her home on Tuesday afternoon. After four games of bridge a delicious lunch was served. Miss Ada Finlayson assisted. A vase of pink and white carnations formed the centerpiece for the tea table, with pink and white roses decorating the living rooms. Mrs. Ralph Albaugh won the high score. Misses Emma Dahlstrom and Eloise Berry entertained the G. G. G. club at the home of Miss Dahlstrom on Wednesday Wednes-day evening. A delightful lunch was served, with vases of daffodils and ferns as a centerpiece, while American flags wem used in the living rooms. Miss Mary Oles won the high score at bridge, of which three games were played. . An official meeting of the Red Cross chapter was held at the lecture room of the library on Wednesday afternoon, when the following officers were chosen: Mrs. Charles St. Clair, chairman : Mrs. A. V. Scott, vice chairman; Mrs. Joseph Bennett, sccretarv; Mrs. Eugene Wright, treasurer. The following new members were elected Mrs. Margaret Buff ham. Mrs. A. L. ITayward. Mrs. T. M. Douglas Doug-las and Mrs. II. W. Robbing. The I Tome Economics club was entertained enter-tained at the home of Mrs. M. F. Nye on Wednesday a fternocn. There was a short business session and sewi ng for a short time, when a delicious two-course luncheon was served. There were twelve members present. Tiie B. O.
