Show J. E. TAYLOR ACCEPTS POSITION AT LOGAN Takes Situation in Horticultural Department De-partment of Agricultural College. J. Edward Taylor, who wili retire as state horticulturist on May &', when the law creating tho crop pest commission becomes effective, has accepted a position posi-tion in the horticultural department of the Agricultural College of Utah and will devote his time to this work. Mr. Taylor will, in fact, take up his duties with the college -next Tuesday, but will look after the work in the horticultural horti-cultural inspector 's office until the new commission takes charge, being assisted in closing up the work of his office by W. H. Homer of the old horticultural commission. Mr. Taylor is to take charge of the horticultural work of the college and will be the head of this division of the work being done Ivy the school, it is announced. an-nounced. After July 1 it is expected that he will take active and personal charge of the field horticultural work of the college, and after that devote his time largely to this service. The appointment of Mr. Taylor came rather as a surprise to the horticulturist, horticultur-ist, as he was not expecting to be called into the college work at this time. |
