Show j Hurn3n Organs F.hde Into Pictures X-RAY OUTDONE. (By h. W. BOWER, M. D.) A recent issue of the British Aledical Journal explains a remarkable diseov-I diseov-I ery of Dr. James Scherer, and describes a new process of photography by which an abscess of the liver or the kidneys can be photographed from living pa- j ttents. This will be .invaluable because; so many people suffer from kidney disease, dis-ease, and it it can be (recognized in time thev, no doubt, can be saved and life prolonged. Such photographs as can be obtained by this new process will show whether there is a blockade in the intestines or not-, whether the kidneys are normal and able to do the great burden put upon them. I'nfortuuately, what the liver can't take care of passes on to the kidnevs, and the intimate relation between the two often causes a disease of the kidneys. kid-neys. One of the poisons retained within with-in the system is uric acid in excess. Death' would occur if the kidneys did not work day and night in separating poisons and uric acid trom the blood. The danger signals are backache, depressions, de-pressions, aches and pains, heaviness, drowsiness, irritability, headaches, chilliness, chill-iness, rheumatic twinges, swollen joints or rout. This can be avoided by stimulating the kidneys to incre:ised action, and because be-cause of its tonic effect on this orean I would advise anyone to purchase Annric (which is to be had nowadays at almost any drug Btore"), and take it three times a day, together with a pint of hot water, an hoi;r before meals. Bv gotting rid of the uric acid you can prevent pre-vent and cure rheumatism, gout, and the pains and aches due to this uric acid stored within the system. I have found in practice that Annric (double strength) is more potent than lithla and in most cases it will dissolve ; the ric acid as hot water does sugar. (Advertisement.) j ! j j WOMEN!
