The board, which will have alternate black and wijite divisions divi-sions ono foot in length, will be erected on one of the bridge abutments in plain view of all persons crossing the bridge. Tho plan is one which is followed fol-lowed by nearly all river ci ties and towns on the lower Mississippi river, according to the commissioner. |
