Show CANCER MORE FATAL THAN TUBERCULOSIS LONDON', March 31. For the first time, t-be mortality from cancer in England Eng-land has overtaken that from tuberculosis. tubercu-losis. At the present time about 40,000 deaths annually are ascribed to cancer. The Cancer society in its annual report re-port expresses the belief that a large increase in cancer cases must be erpect-ed erpect-ed aa a result of the war. "It is a matter of common knowledge," ears the report, "that cancer frequentlv de-velops de-velops at the site of a former scar or wound.
