The exchequer returns for the financial i vear which ended todaj- show a revenue ! for 573,427,5S2, against 336,766,824 I for the preceding year, an increase of i 236,660,758. i The expenditures were 2,198,112,710, as compared with 1,559,158,377 for the preceding year.
