Show Dinner For Seniors Thursday, Oct. 21 is the happy K & F (Kaysville and Farmington) Senior Citizen dinner meeting at the Davis High School beginning at 2 p.m. ALL SENIOR citizens of these two communities are invited to attend. Eugene Tolman is president in charge. In addition to this monthly dinner being served at the Davis High School Cafeteria, Mr. Tolman reminds the senior citizens that various classes and activities are available to all senior citizens of North Davis County at the Heritage Center in the library building in Clearfield. THOSE 55 years of age and up can participate in the program and while a large number are attending' regular, many are not aware the program or center exists. The center is open from 8:30 eaeaAaaAMAnAAnAi a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and visitors are welcome. There is sewing Instruction, ceramics, macrame, lapidary instruction, needlework, and they even take one's blood pressure one day a week. THERE IS also pinochle, painting, food preparation, pool is taught to men and women which is a popular class, bowling at Lakeside Lanes, as well as programs on probate and trusts which are held to aid the senior citizens with those legal areas. The center has been open a year and is located in the basement of the building at 562 South 1000 East, Clearfield. Clear-field. This includes facilities for serving meals, TV -lounge area, pool tables for recreations and classes being held. THEY INVITE all to join them in their various activities activi-ties each week, np |
