This problem was referred to the city manager, Jay Johnson. E. T. Johnson furnished the following report on the curb ; and gutter and sidewalk F SR-106. : "FARMINGTON CITY has received from the state of j Utah, half the cost of building sidewalk and curb from 600 j South to 200 South on one side . of and other areas. Preliminary surveys have been completed by the city : engineer. It has been deter- miped that the east side of SR-106, cost wise, is the most practical. SPEEDY completion of this project depends on financial participation by citizens of Farmington for half the cost. r In the past, several groups have contacted residents in the south area of the city regarding contributions and have been assured that this project will receive the support sup-port of most families. SO FAR, the financial response re-sponse is something less than overwhelming. We anticipate an increase in interest in the near future to complete this safety project before winter, kj |
