Show Volunteers needed At Btfl. Junior A plea is being issued by the Principal and staff of the Resource Center at Bountiful Junior High School for volunteer volun-teer help in their efforts to increase the number of students who could be helped at the center. ANYONE with an hour or more to spare, a love for children and a wish to help in this vital program is urged to contact Lewis Gale, principal of the school at 295-2811 or 295-2711. The number of students who can be helped at the Center depends largely upon the number of volunteers who will assist the staff members. NO TRAINING is necessary and anyone who is willing to give their time and abilities will be most welcome and their service greatly appreciated. The main purpose of the center is to give more individualized in-dividualized help to any student who may have difficulty dif-ficulty in a certain class for any one of many reasons, including absences or illness, so that he may be able to continue his school work to his own best advantage. AMONG those giving help currently are housewives, college students, senior citizens ci-tizens and retired persons. |
