Show UjQWd'HBml 1 By BERTHA L. MUIR 295-3742 Mr. and Mrs. Darold Ledingham of Brigham City were guests of his father Glen W. Ledingham last Sunday. They cooked his dinner for him and gave him a winter's supply of home canned fruit and vegetables. It wasn't even his birthday or Christmas. Mrs. Idell Shipp returned home Monday by plane from Texas where she was a guest of her niece and her husband. Her hosts were recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident a number of months ago. Idell was away from home three weeks. It is good to nave Mr. and Mrs. Max Brown at home again on East Fifth South. They have been living in Montpelier, Ida. where they built and operated a mobile home park. They went to Idaho soon after they both retired from their employment. They are happy to be at home where Max is recovering from open heart surgery, performed three months ago. The Golden Years members are urged by senior citizens county officers to get out and vote. Know the issues. A meet the candidates conference will be held at the Golden Years Center in Bountiful Monday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. Political candidates will be present to answer questions and present the issues. Another session has been scheduled for Heritage Center, Clearfield for Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. All of the candidates have been asked to respond to the following questions: 1. Do you favor the continued con-tinued use of federal funds for various services in Utah and Davis County? 2. If elected will you support sup-port the continued use of state or local funds for senior citizens ci-tizens programs in local communities? Why or why not? The senior citizens' voter service committee is very active ac-tive and have planned for instruction in-struction on use of voting machines at both centers, Bountiful and Clearfield until October 29.
