Redd, 3263 South 350 West, Bountiful, will serve as his county campaign chairman chair-man for Davis County. "I'M EXTREMELY pleased," said Mr. Darger, "to have the services of such a distinguished member of the Bountiful community working with me on this campaign. Besides being a well known consulting engineer, Mr. Redd has performed valuable community service for many years. With his help and support, sup-port, I'm confident of an extremely ex-tremely good showing in Davis County on Nov. 2." Mr. Redd, one of the founders and partners in Redd and Redd Consulting Engineers, En-gineers, has served four terms in the Utah State House of Representatives. During that , time he served as speaker of the house. He is currently a member of the Utah State Board of Education. Mr. Redd outlined the prospective pros-pective campaign for Davis County, explaining that Mr. Darger has two main points in his favor: years of experience and an effective plan for the management of Utah's tax dollars which he will put into effect after he is elected. "WHILE STAN was serving in the legislature, he was the chairman of the House Finance and Appropriations Committee. One important thing in his favor is that he helped to draft the original money management act which regulated the activities of the state treasurer," Mr. Redd said. "The good judgement that Stan has, coupled with a thorough understanding of state government makes him an excellent candidate for the office. Most important, he knows the problems of Davis County. I know that he'll do a fine job as Utah's next State Treasurer." |
