Photo, by Fred Wright. , , j Stewart Festival will include works from each decade that Mr. Stewart has been painting and will provide a retrospective retrospec-tive overview of the life's work of LeConte Stewart. Many of the works are from private collections and have not been on display before the public. A special grant for this exhibit from the Utah American Revolution Bicentennial Bicen-tennial Commission and the Utah State Division of Fine Arts are assisting in funding this exhibit. COINCIDENT ALLY with the opening of the LeConte Stewart Festival will be the opening of the new addition of exhibition space which has been provided by private contributions. con-tributions. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Sunday, : Oct 17, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the ' Bountiful Art Center Gallery, , f 2175 South Main, Bountiful..' At 3 p.m. a gallery talk on ; LeConte Stewart will be ; presented by Mary M. Muir, art historian. THE EXHIBIT will continue ; through November 28. Gallery ' hours will be Tuesday through ' Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., : Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m., closed Mondays. |
