Show POCATELLO QUINTS START SECOND HALF POCATELLO, Idaho, Feb. 14. Two stirring games inaugurated the second half of the Pocatello Citv league basketball bas-ketball season. The first game, between the Elks and the Tech bovs. was a walkaway walk-away for the Tech, the score standing 67 to 16 in their favor at the clr.se. Wede alone of the Tech team made fourteen four-teen goals during the game. Reese. Brookhart and McCain did consistent work for the Elks. The lineup was as follows: Tech F. Wedel, Ream. Exeter. L. We-del. We-del. Chandler, Norbv and Hubbell. Elks McCain. A Her. Oifford, House-man, House-man, Reese and Brookhart. The second game, between the Citv and Short Line teams, was closely fought from start to finish, first one team and then the other being in the ascendancy. In the final count the Short Line showed just two points ahead of the City five, with the result tha t (he two 1 earns are now tied for second place in the league. The lineup: I City Fulton, Callet, Fogt, Harger and Stratford. Snort Line Earl. Perkins, Brookhart. Pugmire. Klingerland, Phillips and Kirken-dall. Kirken-dall. Thursday night the high school will p!av the Tech and the Elks will play the City team. |
