An appeal to Americans in '( Germany nnt to become alarmed and to conduct their businesses as usual is contained con-tained in the weekly bulletin of the American Association of Commerce and Trade. an organization representing American interests in Germany. The bul- i letin says, in part: "At. present we cannot see, any reason why Americans should become alarmed or hysterical and neglect or abandon their business. Xo matter how the situation situ-ation may develop we believe that Americans Ameri-cans in Germany who conduct themselves properly will have nothing to fear and will in no way be disturbed." Only three or four members of the American dentists' colony in Berlin, which is quite numerous, have left Germany Ger-many and the remaining Americans in the German capital are apparently settling set-tling down to ' their usual routine' afier the flurry following the breach of relations rela-tions with the United States. |
