Show APPROPRIATION FOR INDIES APPROVED WASHINGTON. Feb. 14. Urged by the administration to hasten legislation providing pro-viding for the payment of $25,000,000 for i the Danish West Indies and the creation' of a provisional American government on the islands, committees of both the senate sen-ate and the house today voted approval of measures for that purpose.
