Show INVESTORS PROMPT IN NOTING FERBER It ia less than forty-eight hours since announcement was made that the town of Ferber, the nearest neighbor of Gold Hill in the Deep Creek district, but located just over the line in Nevada, was to bo built without delay. The Ferber Copper company owns the Ferber townsite, and no sooner was the announcement made that the platted lots were on the market in this flourishing mining camp than Salt Lakers turned to it for Investment. D. H. Dougherty, who has for years been connected with the hotel business in Salt Lake, yesterday purchased a number of lots in the new town and made a cash payment of more than 50 per cen.lt of the purchase price. Mr. Dougherty entered into an agreement agree-ment with the Ferber Copper company to the effect that he would erect and have in operation within six months from date a thirty-room hotel in the new camp. He is enthusiastic concerning the future j of the district, believing that it will draw-mining draw-mining operators and investors and also that the town of Ferber will be a supply center for. a large amount of tributary I territory.
