Show UNY OF DECORATORS IRlGOpLION Dazzling Display Is Assured for the Big Automobile Show. A small army of decorators, armed with flags, bunting, pennants and streamers, attacked the Bonneville pavilion yesterday yester-day morning, and began preliminary opeE-ations opeE-ations for the most dazzling display of decorations ever before attempted for an auto show held in Salt Lake. Before nightfall there were suspended from the ceiiing of the spacious, building thousands of flags that turned the interior of the building into a maze of colors. The decorating dec-orating will be completed Saturday and the finishing touches will be added Monday Mon-day for the grand opening Tuegday afternoon. after-noon. Manager W. D. Rishel announced yesterday yes-terday that he has arranged for the best local vocal attraction that can be obtained ob-tained to entertain the visitors. In addition addi-tion to the music, dancing will be held on a large space at the east end of the hall, which has been reserved for the purpose. Never before has the space been so much in demand as at the coming exhibit, ex-hibit, 'Mr. Rishel said yesterday. This, in view of the fact that previous exhibits were held In buildings with one-half the space at the Bonneville pavilion. Dealers of the city have arranged their displays in fashions that were popular at the eastern shows this year, and all that remains is the actual moving of the cars to the pavilion. The hours of the show will be from 1:30 to 11:30 p. m. each day. |
