Show BAMBERGER SIGNS STARK COMMISSION Governor Simon Bamberger yesterday siimed t'ne order . commissioning"- Sergeant !Major William C Stark a second lieutenant lieuten-ant in the Second squadron. Utah cavalry, cav-alry, lieutenant Stark is now with troop E on tlie border. The advancement was made some time ago, but the papers were only ofiicially signed yesterday. Ma jor W. G. Williams, adjutant general, gen-eral, Utah national guard, who visited Ogden Tuesday evening to inspect quarters quar-ters for stabling the horses furnished by the government for the use of the cavalry cav-alry troops in that city, states that he lias found quarters where, with little change, the sixty-four horses can be stabled satisfactorily. There are at present pres-ent thirty-two government-owned horses at Ogden, and when the new troop now organized is formally taken into service tliis number will be doubled. |
