Scheie! at their home on East South Temple street, in i compliment to Miss Margaret MOfliyre and Russell Kimball Woodruff, iio will be married Saturday. A cut-glass bowl of pink roses was centerpiece for the table. Four crys-utTNsJles crys-utTNsJles ticks were shaded In pink and two snides of pink tulle were festooned over the cloth. The place cards were sketches of brides -and bridegrooms framed in hearts. The favors were valentines, with cor-saso cor-saso bouquets of Cecil Brunxier roses for the young women of the party and bou-tonnieres bou-tonnieres for the men guests. The ices and confections were heart shaped and carried out a pink and white color scheme. Covers were laid for the following: guests, besides the guests of honor: Miss Marion Melntyre. A. -Slmpkin. The bridal party stood under a canopy can-opy of smilax, studded with pink and white carnations, eN tending from double windows in the living room to the chandelier, chan-delier, with a shower of carnations dropped from the chandelier. Tall vases of calla lilies were on either side of the windows. Portieres of red hearts and cupids hung from the archway separating the living room from the dining room. A cut-glass cut-glass bowl of red and white carnations formed the centerpiece for the supper twble. surrounded by six candlesticks holding red candles. Strings of red hearts extended from the chandelier to th candlesticks. The bride wore cream taffeta, trimmed with silver lace. The bridal veil was ; VuelH with fresh orange blossoms. The matron came first, followed by the maid of honor; then Miss Lucile Glanfield Glan-field and next Miss TJorothy Glanfield, immediately fn front of the bride and her father. The bridegroom and his best man. F. TV. Hanson, joined the party downstairs. An orchestra played Mendelssohn's wedding march as the bridal party entered en-tered the room. Mrs. Morris A. Andrews sang "O Promise Me" softly, during the ceremony. Assisting Mr. and Mrs. Glanfield and the wedding partv in receiving the guests were Mrs. J. W. Hughes, Mrs. W. M. Punch was served in the living room. The couple will spend their honeymoon in New Orleans, arriving there in time for Mardi Gras. They will be at home in Salt Lake after March 15. The go-Ing-away gown of the bride was of mustard-colored cloth, trimmed in delft blue, with hat and shoes to match. An elaborate St. Valentine's dancing party was given by Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Waters and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Light at the Xewhouse hotel last night. The guests were received in the presidential suite. Dancing was enjoyed in the ballroom ball-room and supper was served in the oak room. - . - ' A canopy of hearts and cupids adorned the ceiling of the ballroom and "were in evidence throughout the entire decorative decora-tive scheme and also in the refreshments. Red carnations decorated the presidential presiden-tial suite. Crystal baskets of the bright blossomes, tied with red maline, were on the supper tables. Cupids and hearts were scattered over the cloth and tiny candlesticks holding red candles were favors. Assisting in receiving were Mr. and Mrs. J. N. A double valentine wedding was that of Miss Lucile Adelia Hart and Wehrli Douglas Pack and Miss Leona Sabina Hart and "U'illard Ashton, which took place at noon yesterday in the Salt Lake temple. A reception was given last evening: at the home of the 'bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mis. Charles H. Hart, 931 IL'lm avenue, in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Pack, and a reception will be,iven this evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Ashton. , The decorations were in pink and white sweet peas, which were arranged in a basket as a centerpiece for the supper table. Valentine ideas were also introduced intro-duced in the decorations throughout the house and also in the refreshments. Mrs. Pack wore white georgette crepe over chiffon taffeta, trimmed in pearls. She carried bride roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Genevieve Hart, woro taffeta trimmed in silver lace and white tulie and parried pink roses. Marvin E. Pack, Jr., Was best man.
