Now he wants tiie board of county commissioners to take the license 3ack at face value, with no discount for depreciation from t ime and lack of use. j 3 1 e explained yesterday that after he and Ins sweetheart had obtained the license he became very ill and that his marriage stake was exhausted in payment of hospital hos-pital a,nd doctor bills. He intends, he says, to take out a new marriage license ns scon as he is financially recouped, unless un-less the one a year old can be made to ten ? even some months hence. The turning in of the long unused license li-cense is credited to recent publication of the statement made by County Clerk Homer to the effect that hundreds of marriace licenses have never been properly prop-erly recorded in the clerk's of lice after the marriage ceremony had been performed. |
