Show I APPEAL FOR INLOW ARGUED IN COURT Highest Tribunal of State Has Case of Convict Under Advisement. Arguments on the appeal in tho case of Caleb A. Inlow, convicted murderer of Thomas IS. White, wore heard by the supreme court yesterday and taken under advisement. For three hours Attorney E. A. Walton Wal-ton of the defense argued technical questions of law, assigning scores of alleged errors on tho part of the trial court as reasons why a new trial should bo granted. White, a public chauffeur, was shot to death at midnight while at the wheel of his car, near tho corner of Third East and Ninth South Btreots, October 5. 1912. Inlow was arrested tho following follow-ing dav as ho was entering his law yer's office. The state charged that Inlow lured Whito to tho lonely spot where tho murder mur-der was committed nnd shot him in order to romovo the only material witness wit-ness for tho state in a charge of burglary burg-lary that was pending againBt Inlow. Tnlow was convicted of second degree murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment. |
